What is Homeopathy?
Homeopathy is effective because it is tailored to each individual and their individual case of disease. By treating the root cause of disease, and by treating each patient individually, homeopathy works to promote recovery of health from a vast majority of acute and chronic problems, and works to reduce a patient’s susceptibility to the recurrence of symptoms.
Each person will express their illnesses with a unique pattern and with unique symptoms to them. This is because people tend to get sick in a way that corresponds to the heredity, environmental factors, stresses and weaknesses that are unique to them. Homeopathy recognizes that all symptoms of ill health are expressions of disharmony within the whole person, and that the symptoms are the pattern our body is expressing in order to communicate the needed cure.
Homeopathic Remedies
Homeopathic patients continue to take all physician-prescribed medication during treatment and must remain in ongoing contact with their physician, who can assist them in making any decisions regarding their medications.

History of Homeopathic Medicine
Homeopathic Medicine emerged from the scientific studies and writings of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843) in Germany. He developed and systematically refined this highly effective and experience-based form of medicine. Dr. Hahnemann graduated from medical school in 1779 and began his first homeopathic experiments in 1790. This new system of medicine quickly spread across Europe and beyond, and today is the second most widely used system of medicine in the world, as well as the fastest growing (World Health Organization). The principles underlying homeopathic medicine have been systematically proven throughout two centuries of practice and validated by over 200 scientific studies meeting modern criteria of acceptability.
The World Health Organization has cited homeopathy as a system of medicine that should be integrated worldwide with conventional medicine. Homeopathy is now covered by many private/group insurance plans.
